Amanda Celine Longoria is currently an intern in The University of Texas at Austin’s Coordinated Program in Dietetics. She is passionate about child nutrition and aspires to work with children to help them establish life-long healthy eating habits. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, concocting new dishes in the kitchen, and dancing salsa and zumba.

Abrey Weidman is a junior nutrition major and movement science minor at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. After graduation, she will likely continue with her studies to achieve a master’s degree in exercise and sports nutrition. Abrey loves sports—especially horned frog football—and hopes one day to work with athletes. In her free time, Abrey loves to cook, travel, run, and be outside, especially in her home state of Oregon.

Lucia Hisse is a senior at Texas A&M University. After finishing school, she plans to complete a dietetic internship while getting a master’s degree in nutrition or food science. After becoming a dietitian, Lucia hopes to either work at a hospital in the Houston Medical Center or for a food company. In her spare time, Lucia loves cooking and baking and could spend hours at the grocery store.

Olivia is a senior in the UT Southwestern Clinical Dietetics Program. She graduated from TCU in 2004 with a bachelor’s in marketing and spent three years working in human resources before realizing her true calling was dietetics. Olivia then spent a year and a half completing science pre-requisites and looks forward to graduating in a year. After graduation, Olivia plans to study for the RD exam and is interested in pursuing a career in either clinical and community nutrition. In her spare time, Olivia likes to cook, practice yoga, ride her bike, and read.

Linda is a senior at Texas A&M University. After graduation she plans on completing an internship with a focus on school nutrition. After passing the RD exam, Linda hopes to become a specialist in child nutrition and work for a school district. In her free time, Linda enjoys playing the piano, dancing, walking, and baking.
